This story took me on a ride. It revolves around three friends who have a secret. Naomi was attacked in the woods one summer, and the story centers around her. Naomi suffers from physical and mental scars as a result of her attack. Now, years later, one of the girls wants to tell the truth about what happened all those years ago.
The story begins when Naomi discovers the man she put in prison after her attack has died. But Naomi doesn’t feel the relief you would think. She carries some guilt, and so we start travelling through her memories and current day events to find out what really happened.
This is a fantastic scary story. It definitely made me rethink what I believe to be true.
